Please open Control Panel - Resource Monitor and observe the CPU temperature and HDDs temperature of F4-424 Pro. Do you have any experience with older TOS versions before TOS 6.0.436? Was it working properly at that time?

Re: Raid 5 Problems - F4 424Pro - VERY STRANGE
Hi, no experience on TOS 5, because as soon as I got the NAS I updated to TOS 6.0436 and then .461, both time getting the same HDD3 and 4 detachments. The NAS sits at a well ventilated area... It makes me sort of mad, I just turned the NAS back on a couple of minutes ago after having it off for a day and a half because of it having detached HDD 3 and 4, and now those drives appear again and the Raid is there and the Data is there...
I started a data scrub procedure on the raid that will take 2700 or so minutes.. right now the CPU temp is at 57C and I have never seen it warmer or running ghost tasks...
I am clearing some invoice questions with support right now to go and RMA... but I am tempted to try and redo the raid 5, this time with TRAID and BTRFS, but it'll take a loooong time to put 36TB of data back in the NAS and wait to see if it works then... I don't think I'll have the opportunity to try that because of the RMA time constraints to return the NAS.
Either way, I am 99.9% sure this is a SOFTWARE issue and not a HARDWARE issue. All discs reporte fine, I thoroughly tested the 4 x 18TB drives block by block. The fact that I swapped them and that BOTH HDD3 and 4 fail/detach AT THE SAME TIME it's very very suspicious (for my experience, it's most likely software). The suggestion of disconnecting the NAS from the UPS and connecting it to the wall I think has NOTHING to do with it, but well, I did it anyway and it still produced the same error on the same HDD 3 and 4 drives.

If you think it's a software problem, you can try to troubleshoot the problem at the software level.
Reinstall TOS, which will reset the system partition.
