We apologize for the inconvenience. Could you please confirm whether the file system of the device that failed to mount is NTFS? If so, you can install the following deb package via the "Manual Installation" function in the upper right corner of the "Application Center":
https://download3.terra-master.com/Apps ... _amd64.deb

During the installation, please do not perform any other operations or interrupt the process. After a successful installation, refresh the page and check whether the device can be mounted successfully.
Many, many thanx - Coffee + pizza for you :) Now all working !! Great!

You may download the latest version of Storage Manager and install it manually through the Application Center.

2 crashes within a 24 hours after update, F8 SSD Plus. Docker Subsystem still not working properly for almost a year of using. Unbelievable. Unacceptable.

To accurately locate and resolve the issue, please go to TOS Desktop > Support & Help > Debug Mode, and enable debugging so that the debug logs can record the abnormal moments.

When the problem recurs, first restart the device, then download the debug logs and send them together with the forum link and your forum ID to our technical support email ([email protected]). After receiving them, we will analyze and provide a solution. If possible, please record the time when the problem occurred, which will be very helpful for our troubleshooting.

Copied in new media and it was detected just like the good old days of TOS6.
Great to hear the update fixed your Jellyfin monitoring issue. Could you share a few details about your setup so we can compare?
  • Is your Jellyfin installed from the TerraMaster App Center or running in Docker?
  • Which TerraMaster NAS model are you using?
  • Did you upgrade directly from TOS 6 to TOS 7.0.0804, or did you go through earlier TOS 7 versions first?
  • After the update, did you only run the manual "Scan Media Files" once and then real-time monitoring immediately started working?
- I'm using the App Center version of Jellyfin
- F4-424 Pro(16GB RAM), 4x14TB(data), 1x1TB nvme(OS), 1x1TB nvme(cache)
- I upgrade from 6 to the first official release of TOS7(6xx something?) and then every update since then
- Yup, I had read earlier in this thread to do a manual scan to kickstart something, so I did as soon as the NAS rebooted after the update and Jellyfin started. I've copied multiple things to Jellyfin since, and within 5 minutes or so they get scanned in automatically without me having to run a manual scan again.
