Thank you for help! I tried these settings, CPU load at 1080p H264 is about 38-40%, CPU load at 4K HEVC is about 38-47% (peaks when switching up to 75%), but there are freezes every 4-5 seconds. Pausing playback allows you to watch without friezes for a slightly longer time. Then the buffer is emptied and the freezes begin again. AV1 does not work at all due to the old processor. VP9 1080p gives 85-90% CPU load and freezes. It's a shame that QSV didn't work; VP9 support was announced. But in any case, VAAPI can do something. Please tell me what other settings I should use to increase the buffer and remove friezes?

And I have noticed this feature more than once: after rebooting the TOS system, I notice the consumption of resources by the ffmpeg and jellyfin processes. In this case, no video is played and no task is performed.

All the community apps must be adapted to be compatible with TOS6 beta 420. It will be done but i can't provide you a date yet for Jellyfin. TOS6 is still in beta stage.

Hi!

I don't know where I should post this. If in this thread, the FFmpeg one or the FFmpeg51 one. Since I don't know where this issue falls.

I've been trying to get into Jellyfin after 'bout 2 years of Plex use. And I'm having trouble with the Intro Skipper plugin.

The issue is that it's tasks automatically fail. On their troubleshooting page, on the first point, they ask to check if FFmpeg is installed and chromaprint working. The first part is a non issue; that is installed and working (no errors in the desktop apps of TNAS, using the latest ones for TOS5, btw). The second part is where the error, I think, stands.

This is what Dashboard -> Plugins -> Intro Skipper -> Support Bundle Info shows:

Code: Select all

* Jellyfin version: 10.9.6
* Plugin version: 0.2.0+9388f2a58336
* Queue contents: 6861 episodes, 436 seasons
* Warnings: `IncompatibleFFmpegBuild`
* FFmpeg: `chromaprint_not_supported`
There is a way to enable it? It has to be done on the ur (the app) end? I've done something wrong?

Thanks for the help!

Most probably I have to compile ffmpeg with chromaprint. I will have a look.

As for 6.0.461 jellyfin won't start any video file. The app is starting and I can edit everything, but movies won't load, maybe ffmpeg need to update as well. But both apps can be enabled and are starting correctly. :)

No issue here.

All these files played correctly on previous version 6.0.460 or are you upgrading from TOS5 ? For TOS6 , make sure the user jellyfin have read/write access to your media folder

And that the option "replace permission of all subdirectories...." is selected
