Hello, could you tell me what version of Initboot you are using?
You might want to try reinstalling the system by referring to the following link:

Hello.
I have a question
In my F4-424 I wanted to replace the system disk (HDD1). Can I turn off the device, replace the disks and reinstall the system here? I probably need to download the appropriate version of the system from which I made a copy of the settings. TOS version 6.0.694

Yes, you can re-select the system disk when reinstalling the system. If there is any formatting prompt during reinstallation, please stop the operation and contact us.

For TOS updates, you can refer to the guide at
viewtopic.php?t=8336. For backup recovery, you may try the following steps.
If you encounter issues, contact technical support via email at
[email protected] or through the Official Live Chat, providing them with a system report for analysis. (TOS Desktop > Technical Support > Report Issue)

When trying to login to my F2-220 NAS (TOS 4.2.44) I am being presented with 'wrong password' prompt .
I'd like to point out that my password is always entered automatically by my password manager, which I have checked to make sure is correct, on my Win10 laptop, Win11 laptop and my Android phone and tablet
When I try the 'Forgot Password' option, after entering my Username and Security email then clicking 'Send Code', it says 'Email error!'.
I then use the guidelines in the post by TMroy on 12 May 2020 and by using Method B re-installation, I recover full use of my NAS again but only for 4 or 5 days before, once again, I am presented with wrong password prompt.
This has happened 4 times now so could you please help me resolve this problem?

Thank you for contacting us. We truly appreciate your long-term use of our products.
After verifying your device model, we need to inform you that this specific model has reached its end-of-life (EOL) stage and no longer receives official software updates or technical support from our team:

For the best experience and ongoing technical support, we recommend considering an upgrade to our current product lineup.
You could also try checking your hard drives' SMART values to see if there are any bad sectors and bad blocks that may be impacting TOS performance. Additionally, after backing up your data, you could attempt to install TOS 5.0:
