Hello, I need help setting up Jellyfin on my new TerraMaster F2-223. Trying to access via Fire TV & TCL Roku TV & Chrome browser. None work. Please help! I used this video to guide me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eihck4lpf5U TerraMaster F2-223. TOS 5.1.103-00409 1st I installed: Jellyfin TOS5 10.8.12.0 x86_64 2nd: ffmpeg51 TOS5 5.1.3.0 x86_64 3rd ModBase1 TOS5 1.00.16_x86_64 Jellyfin and ffmpeg51 both said that the ffmpeg app wasn’t installed, so I installed: ffmpeg TOS5 4.4.3.2 x86_64 I turned on Hardware acceleration and ticked several boxes but keep getting playback errors and client device not compatible errors. Today I noticed that some new versions are available, so I uninstalled everything and did this: 1st I installed: Jellyfin TOS5 10.8.13.1 x86_64 2nd: ffmpeg51 TOS5 5.1.3.1 x86_64 3rd ModBase1 TOS5 1.00.17 x86_64 Jellyfin and ffmpeg51 both said that the ffmpeg app wasn’t installed, so I installed: ffmpeg TOS5 4.4.3.2 x86_64 I was surprised to find that I wasn’t prompted to go through the setup process and my library and hardware acceleration selections persisted the uninstall / re-install. Sadly, no changes in errors.

Try to set up English interface in your TOS installation before installing all those apps

If you want to remove Jellyfin config, stop the app and remove the config folder as below using the file manager

I'm not sure what you mean, but I am using an English interface already.
Is there more that you are talking about?

Thanks, that did get rid of my old configuration and now I have re-installed Jellyfin but it can't seem to connect to the server anymore.
I will un-install everything and start over again.

Is there a particular order the apps like ffmpeg and ModBase need to be installed?

Which hardware acceleration methods should I choose for my F2-223?

Thank you for making this app.

I have all the dependencies installed, gave Jellyfin user group MEDIA access.

Jellyfin can see a lot of my files and fetched art/info.

Final problem: it will not play any files. Chrome, android app, etc.

See attached image for error client-side.

I have log files if you need. Very long. Anything particular you want from log?

My TerraMaster NAS is

Code: Select all

F2-221
CPU is

Code: Select all

J3355
. Should use QSV, yes?
