You can issue commands through the OpenClaw dialog box to have the AI perform certain operations for you.
For example:Create a task to restart the NAS at 8 PM tonight by creating it under Control Panel > Scheduled Tasks.

Why would I use Openclaw for that when I can access the control panel? Are you trying to say that this is for people who don't understand linux/tos? Or for people to do things they shouldn't (permissions)? Or people that implicitly trust AI to do what they ask, even if the problem is badly phrased? {"delete all files" ..... oops, I meant "delete all log files"..... "restore all files")

I do like the idea of certain jobs, when they finish trigger another job. Rather than guessing how long the first would take and setting a hard schedule for the second task. That would be worth it. Or when a certain folder is gets over x number of files to copy the to USB or whatever and then reset that folder. If that's possible, that would be fun to experiment with.

Since I had to rebuild my F4-424 Pro, A nice thing if Claw can do is script recreating rsync tasks, or whatever tasks. Like input a file csv or text with folder names and whatever fields are necessary.
I could just finally install OpenClaw and first thing to ask it, "show me examples of what you can do with Terramaster"

Has anyone used OpenClaw yet? I don't see many posts or is there another OpenClaw topic somewhere else in the forum?
I question this bit in the instructions " You can configure large language models in OpenClaw even with the free plan, but it will show an insufficient quota message when used."
Will it still function or does the quota message sort of mess up any automation?

If your large model has no token quota/credits left, OpenClaw will not function properly.

So it won't work at all using the free plan? I haven't installed OpenClaw yet, I still have no clue how I want to use it or the capabilities of it. I don't want to install this and find out I need to pay for a plan, when I might not be ready to.

You can choose your own model in OpenClaw; it's an AI agent. For more information, please visit their official website:

Thank you for the link. I am still going to pass for now. Until I see some examples about how it can enhance TOS or expand upon the existing functionality, I'm not going to bother.
Every post I see (so far) seems to skirt around the basic question "OpenClaw and TOS, how they work together".

Regarding the collaboration between OpenClaw and TOS, we can wait for the official release of TOS 7.
