Hello zethar,

I just checked and with the VPN disconnected if I can download files from outside the local network!! but not within the NAS network. With the VPN active I can not download in any way. I do not know if with this data we can limit where the problem may come from.

Thank you again.
A greeting.

Hello, this issue is caused by the recent expiration of the certificate configured for the TOS system. We are currently addressing it. In the meantime, please use your own remote access methods (such as TNAS Online or DDNS) to download the files.
Hello buddy,

But I have had the misfortune that it has coincided with the installation of the. 783 version of TOS?? because up to that point I had not had any problems with the version. 750 which I had.

When will it be solved? because it is quite annoying to have to go disconnecting the VPN every time I go to download some file and if I am at home the Wifi connection too.

Thank you again.
A greeting.

We fully appreciate the inconvenience of having to manually disconnect your VPN or Wi-Fi each time you download a file, and our team is actively working to resolve this issue.

As a temporary workaround, you may try reinstalling the TNAS mobile application. Upon re-login, the system will again request VPN connection permissions. At that point, you may select ‘Do not show again’ to prevent this pop-up from reappearing.

Thank you once more for your patience and understanding. We will continue to provide updates on the progress of this fix.

I have absolutely the same problem and it still hasn't been resolved. Are there any plans or timelines for fixing it?
