I totally understand it's a BETA and thanks for that post, it probably would of help and it's great to have this linked for in the future if I ever run into a similar problem. I only posted about my problem on here not to complain but just to inform the programmers that I am running into this problem.

its news to me also, but i can understand why it might seem like that (although no official statement)

latest version for ARM is 4.2.08, TM have releaseed 4.2.09 for X86 and they have released this beta vesion almost 3 weeks ago now (6th Feb) with no news on any ARM versions in the pipeline

After this TOS update, I lost all my plex config database...
I made a new one... and each time i shutdown the nas i lost the config every time..

I uninstall the appli, and install a fresh one...
Same bugs...
All db files seams to be written, files are growing.. but after a reboot... all database files desapeared... replaced by fresh ones..

?? any issues ??

Hi, thanks..

So I decided to install a new fresh TOS.
I backuped my config. and reset the system..

I had errors on with this last action... it reboot and ask me new informations about the nas name...password and so on..
But I couldn't go forward... i was stuck to next button..

So I rebooted manually, et now...
I have no LAN Led nor HDD Led in green.. all are red
It seems to be stuck at boot... I heard HHD written... for 1 hour...

Any help ??

Hi,

Can you use the TNAS PC to find your TNAS with a hard drive inserted or when the hard drive is not inserted?
If you reach the initial setting user password interface again and cannot proceed to the next step, please try to clear the browser cache.

If there is no effect, please try to install the system again: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=423

If you still cannot install the system, you can send an email to our support team: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=608

Of course, if you back up your hard drive data to other places, you can connect the hard drive to the computer and format the hard drive before reinstalling the system.

Note: Formatting the hard disk will delete all data on the hard disk, please format it after backing up the data.
