How to manually install 3rd Party Apps and the list with available apps

Post by outkastm »

This post to explain how to install 3rd Party Apps (not officially supported by TerraMaster).

First of all, use them at your own risk and consider that Terramaster or OutkastM is not responsible for any possible damage or data loss.
These modules are developed and can be installed on TOS: 4.1.2.7 or later version

To manually install a .tpk package, within TOS WebUI go to Applications > Settings > Browse your computer to select the downloaded .tpk package and press Apply. After installation, an icon will be created on TOS desktop from where you can select additional option for the newly installed app. Do not close the installation window before the app icon is created on the desktop. Usually it takes maximum 10 seconds after installation is done.
The webpage for additional options (start/stop the module, enable/disable autostart, view log, edit config etc) is available only if you connect to TOS with administrator account
Apps will presented like this

For TOS4.x
x.64 - last version - 3.0.4.1042.0 // the .tpk filename will contain TOS4 and x86_64 as example ModBase1_V1.00.00_x86_64.tpk
armv8 - last version - 3.0.4.1042.0 // the .tpk filename will contain TOS4 and aarch64 as example ModBase1_V1.00.00_aarch64.tpk

For TOS5.x
x.64 - last version - 3.0.4.1042.0 // the .tpk filename will contain TOS5 and x86_64 as example ModBase1 TOS5 1.00.00 x86_64.tpk
armv8.2 - last version - 3.0.4.1042.0 // the .tpk filename will contain TOS5 and aarch64 as example ModBase1 TOS5 1.00.00 aarch64.tpk

For TOS6.x

This is a shout-out to @OutkastM to say thank you for packaging these apps, and helping to expand the functionality of our Terra-Master NAS devices. You're doing exactly what I wish I had the talent to do, and for that you have my both my thanks, and envy.

Hmmm
I can't reproduce this.
I even did a clean install of TOS (to remove any of my possible manual changes), and no issue to install theese packages.

Maybe you can tru also with another browser ?

I think i found the issue.
Is because your TOS language is set to French and all my tests were done on English language.

I will check what i can do.

You can download again the latest version from server (Python38 and Sabnzbd3) and install them.
Language issue will be fixed for other packages asap.
