Hello, I just bought an F5 422 to replace an old Nas Dlink in my compagny.
I have 2 problems that I don't have with the Dlink.
1- The F5 422 does not appear in the network neighborhood on all windows 10 PC but I can mount network drives "\\F5422\user\XX" on the shares of the F5 422.
2- I cannot copy Mac files of the XXXXX._XXXX type, coming from a windows disk or from the Dlink.
Do you have an idea to help me.
Thank you
Windows network
Re: Windows network
Hi,
1. You can go to the control panel to enable UPnP. If not, please check the related discovery service of your computer. 2. Whether the file contains special symbols, maybe because the attribute of XXXXX._XXXX is hidden, you need to open it to view it even on the computer.
You can set its properties to be visible and then copy it to TNAS.

Re: Windows network
Hello, thanks for your reply.
for the UPnP, I will test.
For the rest it does not work. You can see on the left 3 copies of the same file on local disk. Right attempt to copy to F5. I can't do it.
Best regards

Re: Windows network
To confirm my problem:
Using SyncBackPro to copy 2 files containing ._
With the Dlink NAS no problem With the F5 422 impossible to copy the same files.
The configuration of SyncBackPro being exactly the same.
An idea?
Thank you

Hello,
Did you use SMB to access TNAS and then copy files on your computer to TNAS failed?
We can't see the failure prompt clearly on your picture. You can provide a clearer picture.
You can separate the two pictures and add them as attachments.
If so, can you send us the failed file? We will verify it and find the reason.
Thanks.

Hi,
In linux/tos, the file at the beginning of. is hidden. If you want to see it, you need to modify the file name.
