F4-210 shuts itself down
F4-210 shuts itself down
My F4-210 started to shut itself down yesterday. It beeps twice, pauses, beeps twice again and shuts down. It tries to reboot itself, but usually fails. When it does reboot, it works for usually 5 minutes then shuts down again. Sometimes it works for a few hours, but it always happens. I contacted support and they suggested that I repair the RAID, but I cannot because the directions tell me to click an "edit" button that does nothing. Not sure what to do now. I was able to update the firmware, which customer support recommended I do. It did not help, I'd actually say the problem got worse after the update.

Re: F4-210 shuts itself down
Hello, I just got the same problem (or at least the description seems very similar).
My Terramaster F2-210 has always worked fine (since august 2020), and last tuesday it started to reboot randomly, sometimes immediately, sometimes after a couple of minutes (not more than 10).
The firmware version is X.X.07 I only remember the last digit since I wanted to upgrade to x.x.08 but I couldnt, since it rebooted again.
In the managment interface (web) I don't see anything strange. Disks appear to be in good health since I the operating system sees the raid array with 3,4TB. I still haven't have time to read/write something there.
I recorded the last dmesg, just one second before the last reboot and the /var/log/messages occured until I opened a shell session. Files are attached compressed since not txt or log files are accepted. Please let me know what can I do; I see some errors:
PCIE with error -22
resolving ntp pool, but otrher devices in my network have no network problems.
an unexpected syntax error on a system file (S99rtk-supplicant)
I guess that these errors do not seem correlated between them. The problem it seems we have here is a file system corruption. Does it sound logical?
I might not be the only one to have had this problem so maybe other users have experienced something similar with common causes.
Thank you very much for any help you can give me.
