NAS unresponsive daily

Post by Baltar »

Hello I recently purchased a f4-210 1gb and have set it up to be a plex server. The server works well when it can stay on. I find every morning I check the server and it has frozen. All the lights are still on but I cannot access it via IP address, the TNAS application or plex (shows offline). It requires me to unplug the server. After plugging it back in it works normally until freezing again.

I have 2 4tb drives set to raid 1 on an additional 2 4 tb drives. Both sets are at approx half capacity. The NAS sits at 7%CPU ~20% RAM when idle.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated

Hello, has TNAS turned on hibernation and are other services running at the same time? Can you tell us the TNAS version and plex version, let us troubleshoot the problem or send an email to ask for help remotely.

Thanks for the quick reply. TNAS and plex are fully updated and hibernation mode has been turned off. I will get the version numbers later today and email support as you recommended. Thank you kindly

Any luck? I'm experiencing the same issue. It never stays responsive for more than a few hours.
