[Help] OneDrive Sync no longer working on F2-210?

Post by AndyB »

Recently I've been unable to carry out scheduled synchronisation between files on my NAS and OneDrive. It shows as connected, but brings back no details of the storage space, and the logs would suggest this hasn't worked correctly since some time in June.

If I try and create a new connection then I'm prompted to sign in, CloudSync asks me to confirm permissions, but then nothing, it just falls back to the Create Connection part.

Any idea what's going on?

We have ceased maintenance and updates for the TOS 4 system you are currently using. Therefore, compatibility and bug fixes for applications like CloudSync may no longer be available.

Here is our announcement: viewtopic.php?t=10013

Regarding the OneDrive sync issue you mentioned, we recommend upgrading your device to a newer NAS model, such as the F2-425 Plus, if possible. The latest TOS7 has significant improvements in application ecosystem, system stability, and cloud sync functionality, providing better support for cloud services like OneDrive.

Hi Mike,

I understand your point about maintenance and updates for TOS4, it's an older product now so that makes sense.

However I wouldn't expect basic functionality to also stop working. As the point of my NAS is data storage and redundancy then I'd expect those services should still be available. Has anything specifically been disabled from the TM end that would prevent cloud storage running correctly on older devices?
