[Help] Anyone succeeding creating a VM with Windows ?

I have several obstacles, first:

During my first attempts to get TNAS (F8-SSD) working in my network setup behind my primary Google router (I have several in mesh) directly attached to the Fiberswitch of my ISP.
Looong trail of attempts kan be seen here:

that lead to a support session with TerraMaster Support. They did not resolve the problem.
March 13, 2026 Support suggested me to install a USB Wireless Dongle instead (I had to purchase it myself).

That helped me to see the TNAS on my home network, still behind the Google WLAN.
Little did I know what that would mean to the flexibilty of my TNAS

• I cannot get VirtualBox running, its mentioned to be phased out in favor of VMs

• I cannot create a VM, it seems to require a physical LAN network attached thing, I have only Wireless

I attempted to create a VM with a Disabled network (for the obvious above reason) and it apparently succeeded.
The day after, I had a look at the syslog and wauwh, a lot of errors appears occurring every 2 second:

I think it seems pretty unstable.
Can you reconsider to allow VirtualBox once again (fixing the PHP 7.4 install issue) ?
And can you consider a Virtual Network capability, that doesnt pay attention to the hardware layer ie whether its LAN or WLAN.

VirtualBox is currently available for installation via the App Center.
Additionally, PHP 7.4, which you noted as missing, is also available there if you need it.
As for the virtual machine network adapter issue you mentioned — especially the problem where USB network adapters cannot be used — we will conduct verification and further investigation.

We have confirmed that VMs v1.0.055 now supports creating networks via USB Wi-Fi. If you are still unable to successfully create a network after updating to VMs v1.0.055, please provide the relevant information mentioned above so we can troubleshoot the issue. My network is very simple:

	* This was the initial attempt to have a physical device (ie my TNAS) attached to the
	same subnet 192.168.86.* as administered by the WLAN part of Router... 
	
	Solution were deemed impossible via the Support Session held March 11, 2026
	Succeeding emails from TNAS Support suggested me to duvert to a WiFi Adapter solution, instead.
	
	USB wireless adapter added to TNAS and allowed the fixed subnet address to be
	reachable through WLAN.

Well time has already passed beyond having the TNAS of mine to connect using Ethernet.
I am now solely relying on using WLAN, as my TNAS sits just af few centimeters from the main WLAN router.
I don't want to bother about this any longer.
Google router can and will not accept and route traffic from the ETH part to its WLAN domain.
We tried a lot in the spring, so I consider my case is closed as per April 20, 2026.
