[Help] can't access NAS
I have my system disk on a single FS hard drive (/Volume3). I deleted volume2 via the gui (a SSD) in my F6-424 max and the system seemed to hang. I rebooted it, but I still can't access it either in the gui or in ssh. It seems to be making noise rattling around the hard disks, but I don't know what it's doing. I had wanted to remove Volume2 and recreate it as the new Volume1 system disk. I don't know what to do now. Because the system disk is not a raid but a single disk, it should not be rumbling around doing recovery. what should I do ?

What was the Storage Pool arrangement?
Volumes are built on Storage Pools; Storage Pools are built on disks.
File systems equate to Volumes; Arrays (raid or otherwise) equate to Storage Pools.

Re: [Help] can't access NAS
The hard drive is making a repetitive clicking noise, which typically indicates a mechanical fault (such as repeated read/write head failures, or a head crash where the read/write head strikes the platter).
If this is the only drive on which you have installed your operating system, any fault with this drive will render your system inaccessible.
You can try installing the operating system on a different drive first; once the installation is complete, reconnect this drive to check its health status.
