F4-220 Has failed

Post by eric2 »

Hello,
My F4-220 has failed it looks like after the device switches on to green power light only and all red lights on the hard disks. It did not make the beep sound after it switches on, I've tried a few things:
- removing all hard disks and reboot - does not seem to work, cannot load the system in the usual webpage under the ip address
- removing the usb that was installed after i read that it might be the cause of the an error, flashed a boot software to the old USB and a new USB drive but no good
is the device now dead? any thing else i can do with it? seems like a waste of good hardware..
Thanks

Based on your test results, your device has a hardware malfunction, but your data should be fine. Replacing it with a new TNAS will allow you to migrate your data. If you require a replacement, please feel free to contact us (support(at)terra-master.com).
