New forum topic for bugs being fixed

Post by rfbjr »

Why not start when TOS 7 is released, to have a forum/topic for active bugs being worked on.
It is sort of a pain to go through the trouble to take screen shots and/or debug/system logs only to get a reply that whatever the issue is, it's being addressed already.

It would help users, once an issue comes up to first check that forum before supplying the information. I'm not saying they shouldn't go ahead anyway and post an issue or email support but it would help. Especially when the issue/bug could be posted in many different ways and topics.

I think you are missing the point or is it that @TM will not acknowledge directly when there is an issue within TOS?

Do you think Gremlin and myself are not posting questions/concerns or issues, He didn't get Gold status or Silver for myself by posting spam or silly stuff (not counting the water bottle example of RAID). I am trying to be practical that's all. I turn on debug mode, capture the issue, download the logs, post screen shots and logs, only to get a reply, yes we are working on the issue. That is where before doing all the work, to just look at the current open issues and checking if it's there already.
I also understand that we do post issues and then TM duplicates the issue and will be begin fixing it.

While some concerns are not bugs per sec, but maybe just useability.
Just to pick on Cloud Sync for a moment, how could the GUI not display last run time or next scheduled time of whatever task?
Does TM have a group of non-technical testers. Where they take the documented feature/program and follow what's written and see if it works as documented or makes sense?
