Hi!
I have purchased a D2-320 to connect it to my existing F2-424 using a USB-C cable.
I have inserted two 8 TB WD Purple hard drives into the D2-320, and the switch on the back is in the Raid1 position.
How can I verify that the Raid1 mode is actually enabled?
When connected to a Windows 11 laptop, the D2-320 appears as an 8 TB hard drive, and the same applies when connected to the F2-424.
However, how can I ensure that the Raid1 on the D2-320 is actually enabled?
It was not an easy task to enable Raid1 on the D2-320.

Sorry. F2-424 It's a mistake, F4-424 that's right.

Hi.
Simply turning the dial on the back of the D2-320 to point to “RAID1” does not complete the RAID1 setup; you must also press the Reset button to format the drive.

If you have data on the drive, please back it up first.

Re: [Help] D2-320 How to make sure that the correct Raid1 mode is enabled
You can determine whether RAID 1 synchronization is in progress by writing data and observing the status of the HDD indicator.
Since you haven’t started using the system yet, you can also try the following to verify if RAID 1 is functioning:
Remove one drive and see if an alarm sounds. If an alarm sounds, reinsert the drive. RAID 1 will then restart synchronization, and the reinserted drive will flash orange until synchronization is complete.
