How do I copy from the USB Drive back onto the NAS?
I had a single 16TB drive in my F4-425 and a single 16TB external USB drive connected directly to the NAS. I used USB Copy to backup directly to the external drive.
I then rebuilt my NAS with 8,10, and 16TB drives, created a new pool and volume. I now want to copy back the data from the external drive onto the NAS.
It says there’s “no valid data” on the USB drive to copy from?

Nevermind. The external drive wasn’t mounted. I ejected and physically unplugged / reconnected and it mounted and the files are now available.ShoutingMan wrote: ↑11 Apr 2026, 20:27 How do I copy from the USB Drive back onto the NAS?

Whew! I think I can now do the backup restore.
