[Help] I can't login on a web page or the client.

I woke up this morning to find my F4-423 had lost all connections and i could not restore them. The client could not find the F4-423, nor could a web page either. I did a bunch of troubleshooting and thought I had narrowed it down to a bad USB stick. I had a really good never used before USB drive so i flashed a new image and hoped that would work. The client still does not find it, but the IP address in a browser shows the background that was there when I started the USB OS recovery.It is just an image. I can ping the TNAS just fine. I don't want to run done everything I have as far as equipment, just know that is is good stuff and it works, except for the TNAS. I can, but the router, switch, computers, etc are not the problem and are functioning. The other thing that is happening right now after 30 min of having done the recovery of the USB drive, the TNAS is still rattling the drives like it has something to do. They are usually very quiet. It is not loud or a pattern. The HDD LEDs are blinking randomly, but the LAN LED is blinking at a fast rate (5 times a sec), and the LAN LED used to not do that. I am at my wits end. Fearful that my data is gone (just so you don't blame the HDDs, they are RED WD drives) I don't buy crap. Do i just let the drives rattle like this for days? What do I do next? I am sick of this. Is it the OS? do I have bad memory? I don't know how to solve any of this since i can't login. Now the connection on the web browser just time out. I give up.

I want to add more to this thread. it has become clear to me that what I downloaded and installed on my new USB drive was just the bootloader (USB_Initboot_UEFI-229.img) which was given to me by a TerraMaster person. I need the full boot, os and whatever else I need. I am so trying to keep this cordial, but ..... Would someone that knows what they are doing please help me. Thank you very much.

I did, and now I have wasted another day, and it is still not working. Someone at TerraMaster had better start telling me something or get this thing replaced, if that is what is needed. I am so angry right now. I just need answers, and I am not getting them. Please get this figured out.

It is my humble opinion that the issue is that when the F4-423 boots up with the HDDs installed that have the OS on them, it will not communicate because the F4-423 iis so busy thrashing the HDDs it has no time to do anything else. When the OS is on a HDD by its self that does not happen. The why or how , I don't know, but AI says thet is a common thing with the OS getting hosed. I just don't know how to fix it.

If the OS is "hosed" the obvious solution is to re-install the OS.......
FWIW if "AI" can tell you the problem, it should be able to tell you an answer to it. To quote Google "AI responses may include mistakes."
So, AI in general is just like the Internet anyway.

This is a response to Gremlin, and I am going to keep this response very cordial, but I really want to tear into you for such a stupid post. I can read, so yes I know that AI does not have the answers to everything. It is a tool. I use it as such. I also don't just follow AI blindly. You, Gremlin, are a freaking idiot. You know nothing about my situation. Quit making useless posts that just end up pissing people off and contribute absolutely nothing to help solve my issue.
