Hi,
I'd like to use TNAS mobile to be able to view my photos library through the Photos app. However, there are a few very frustrating issues that I'm sure could be easily fixed and would greatly improve user experience:
1. When accessing Photos through the browser on the PC, I'm able to sort the photos in ascending and descending order. Through the Android app, one can only select by modified or creation date. Please consider adding the option to sort in ascending and descending order in the Android app.
2. When opening a photo, if I want to go back and use the Android swipe motion to go back, the app exits instead of going to the previous menu, which is completely counter-intuitive. Swiping to go back should go to the previous menu rather than exiting the app.
3. When viewing the photos in the mobile app, they are in incredibly low quality. In order to view a photo in higher quality, the only option is to view in the original quality, and to do that one has to click on on "view original photo" at the bottom. The quality of the photos when scrolling through them should be higher: not necessarily the original quality, but at least sufficient to have good quality on a mobile screen. As it stands right now, scrolling through the photos is pointless because they are all very blurred. Through the browser, I can scroll through the photos quickly and they have good quality; this should also be possible through the mobile app. Please consider improving this.

Thank you for your valuable feedback! Regarding the issues you raised, our responses are as follows:
1. Regarding the ‘Photos’ sorting feature: Your suggestion to add ascending/descending sorting on mobile is highly valuable. This functionality is currently unavailable. We have logged your request and added it to our feature backlog for future review and evaluation during version planning. As an alternative, you can temporarily manage photos by sorting them in ascending or descending order by “Time Modified” within the “File Manager” app.
2. Regarding the swipe-back operation: We have been unable to successfully reproduce the issue where “swiping back while viewing an image causes the app to exit immediately.” To accurately diagnose the problem, please send a screen recording of the operation to our technical support email at [email protected]. Upon receiving the video, we will immediately analyze it for you.
3. Regarding photo preview clarity: To enhance preview sharpness, try adjusting settings via this path: Navigate to TOS System > Control Panel > Media Index > Settings. Set the “Thumbnail level” option to “High quality.” This will regenerate high-definition thumbnails, significantly improving image quality when viewed on mobile devices.

3. What I mean is it should be possible to view the photos at native resolution without having to click on the bottom where it says "view original photo" each time I scroll to the next photo, which is extremely frustrating. There should be an option where I am able to always view all photos at their native resolution when scrolling through them, and not high quality thumbnails - which are still not good enough to view full screen on a large Android phone or a tablet. If I access the NAS through SMB on my Android, for example, I can open and scroll through the photos perfectly well without any issues; I'd like to be able to do the same inside Photos. I hope I was clear.
New suggestion:
4. I've also just noticed that it is not possible to tilt the phone to change photo orientation inside the Android app. For landscape photos, this is quite frustrating. Please consider allowing to change screen orientation when using Photos in the TNAS mobile app. Many thanks.
