Smb fails to give permissions to user. shared folders fails to give permission to folders.

Not quite sure what you mean.
Updated to .408 this morning and have no issue with access via SMB (even remote mounted folders). Permissions appear to be as per previous version.

Re: TOS 7.0.0408 Beta (X86) is Released for Update
when i assign a folder to a user in the share folder permission section and save, he gets no permissions.
However if i assign it in terminal with commands it works.
Not sure why it does not save permissions selected in web gui.

Ok let's just say (on my F4-425 Plus)t that the Volume/Storage pool was corrupt, what would be the steps to repair it?rfbjr wrote: ↑03 Mar 2026, 20:11 That was a bit scary. F6-424 updated fine, yes, the hibernation settings were not on, if off prior to upgrade.
The F4-425 Plus looked fine, but when I logged on, it said no volume/storage pool. Status showed corrupt.
Manually rebooted it again, everything back up normal. Generating a system report, I'll upload it later.
I have filesystem snapshots turned on, would I just go and do a restore? My guess is that won't stop the RAID from needing a re-sync?
I rather know my options now rather than in a panic mode.
F6-424 & F4-425 Plus at 7.0.0777
F4-424 Pro also at 7.0.0777
