I'm running the latest TNAS Mobile app on my iPhone (3.4.042 at the time of writing) and I want it to backup my photos and videos from the camera roll to my TerraMaster NAS.
I thought it was working fine since I pretty much only take photos, but I'm currently on holiday and have found a couple of issues when it comes to Live Photos (which I rarely use).
Photos work as I expect (what I assume is) the original HEIC gets backed up as expected.
Live Photos do get backed up (again, what I assume is) in their original HEIC format and if I turn on the "Back up Live Photo videos" a converted MOV file. The MOV file is sometimes handy, but not something I typically want, turning this option off appears to work and only leaves the original HEIC.
BUT Why does it rename the file? If it really must, can it rename it with a suffix rather than a prefix so the files stay in order when viewing a mix of files? Or better yet, how about an option to rename them or not?
Please tell me I'm missing an option somewhere? (Or should this be a feature request?).

Re: Backing up HEIC files from TNAS Mobile
Thank you for your feedback! Here's an explanation regarding Live Photos backup:
At the system level, a Live Photo is inherently composed of two separate files. To ensure that the Live Photo effect can be fully restored when you download it back to your device, our app employs a renaming strategy to mark these two files during backup. This ensures they can be correctly identified and paired. This is a consistent technical approach we have adopted to guarantee your Live Photos experience remains seamless.
