[Discussion] F4-223 Shutdown even when UPS line power was restoredd

Post by rfbjr »

Setup:
F4-424 Pro (TOS 6 current version) has UPS directly connected to the unit.
F4-425 Plus (TOS 7 v333) UPS provided via network from F4-424
F4-223 (TOS 7 v333) UPS provided via network from F4-424

All three notified that power switched to UPS battery for 5 seconds.
Two notified that UPS line power restored after the 5 seconds.
F4-223 I did a notification that UPS line powered restored once I powered unit back on. No email but understandable.

F4-424 Pro and F4-425 Plus continued running after UPS switched back to line power.

F4-223 decided to shutdown. **RAID was adding a third disk at the time, It's still running after manually powered back on, so that's fine.
I just created the system report on the 223 box and will submit a ticket.
F6-424 & F4-425 Plus at 7.0.0777
F4-424 Pro also at 7.0.0777

F4-223 will consume a large amount of system resources during array synchronization. Please try testing after the array synchronization is completed to see if the same phenomenon still occurs.
