Weird, I had it turned on for Sonarr (community version) and it said it updated to the latest version but the program still works. I've disabled it now but it's still on the updated version, not the community version.

Yes, it shows updated.

How did this not break the community version? So should I leave the automatic update option turned on now?

Sonarr is using some specific folders to store the temporary update files. On TOS this can have limited space as tehy can be on the system partition, is not the same as on a normal computer. You might be low in space on these partitions and the update might fail. For that reason some apps can support autoupdates but some not. If it works for you, just leave it as it is. Whenever it fails, request/install and updated tpk file.

This app is severely out of date. Latest version available from Radarr's GitHub repo is 6.0.4.10291 while the latest version of the community app is 5.16.3.9541.0. The community app is from December 2024! https://github.com/Radarr/Radarr/releas ... .16.3.9541

Do we need to uninstall the old app and install the updated separately? It doesn't seem to update automatically

Just install the new tpk file. Upate is ok, tested on x86_64 (TOS6 and TOS7)
