Suggestion: Have VPN exclude local network traffic.

ISP is behind a CGNAT which makes direct outside connections troublesome but, as I understand it, using a VPN will route ALL traffic through it with split tunneling working "Per Application" for the NAS.

My suggestion is to just have an option where it will use the VPN for any traffic bound for over the internet but still route the local traffic outside of it.

For example. If I try to access the Plex / Emby / Jellyfin server from within the local network it will exclude connecting to the VPN but if I tried to access it over the VPN online, it would instead use that. Would suck if you are stuck between choosing to either connecting the VPN and losing local network access to the NAS and not using the VPN and losing access to it over the internet.

The NordVPN Windows app allows you to only have the internet bound traffic all go through it while the local network stuff does not. Hope that there is some option to allow that in this situation too.

If this is already an option, I apologize, still learning to use it all.

Access within the local area network does not go through the VPN. There is currently no relevant stuck point provided.
