[Help]

Post by bbtester »

Good afternoon. I'm a new NAS user. I purchased an F2-424 device and installed two HDDs in RAID1 (using the completely automatic "out-of-the-box" settings). As an experiment, I turned off the system, removed one of the disks, and turned it back on. The NAS did not boot. Is this normal behavior, meaning the system cannot boot without one of the disks? I thought RAID was designed specifically for this scenario, allowing me to continue working and recover my data!
