[Help] Unable to see/access NAS on network

Post by GATC »

Device: F4-424 Max
Version: TOS 7.0.0227

Issue: I am no longer able to access the device via the network after upgrading to 7.0

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

1. Attempted to reboot the device multiple times.
2. Verified the switch port shows a link light.
3. Tested the device on three different switch ports.
4. Confirmed the device appears to boot properly (all lights illuminate).

Despite these steps, the device is not visible on the network and cannot be pinged. The switch also does not register the device. I can directly connect to NAS, but no command work to reset network connection.

Hello, does the LAN indicator light on the NAS illuminate and flash normally when starting up?
Please check if the USB drive with the boot system is properly inserted into the NAS; you can try using a different USB port.
Please check in the BIOS if it is set to prioritize TOS boot.
