I have Google Drive Sync set up on my NAS to upload files from a security camera directory to the cloud. I have the NAS configured to delete the files after a certain amount of time, to avoid filling up my Drive. Google Drive Sync is configured to upload local changes only. It is successfully uploading the new recordings to Google Drive, but when I delete recordings from the NAS Google Drive Sync doesn't appear to be propagating those changes, so the files remain on my Drive. Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a fix?
Thanks!

Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
This is likely related to the cloud drive's task settings. Please uncheck the option "When a file in a source folder is deleted, the files in the destination folder are not deleted" when creating a new task.

Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
There's no option like that.

I tried making it bidirectional instead of uploading local changes only, but that's even more broken, it basically behaves like download changes only should, where it deletes files from the local device that aren't in GDrive without uploading anything new.
Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
It seems you are using an older version of the system. What is the model of your current device and the TOS version? What is the version of cloudsync?

Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
It's an F4-210 NAS, running TOS 4.2.43. Google Drive Sync version is 2.1.5, freshly installed from the applications menu, and it doesn't give me any option to update it.
Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
We used the same system as you for testing. When selecting one-way upload, synchronization of deletions is not supported. When selecting two-way synchronization, new files and deleted files on the NAS will be synchronized to Google Drive.

Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
Thank you, when I tried two-way synchronization instead of uploading new files from the NAS to Google Drive it just deleted anything that wasn't already in Drive from the NAS

Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
I tried two-way sync again and got the same result, when I create a new file on the NAS that isn't in GDrive instead of uploading it to GDrive it deletes it from the NAS.
Re: [Help] Google Drive Sync not deleting files from Drive
If you find that the two-way synchronization of TOS4 Google Drive Sync does not meet your expected outcome, it is recommended that you continue using one-way synchronization to avoid unexpected situations.
