I created a new CloudSync task yesterday to backup around 120GB of files to Backblaze B2. We had a brief power outage in the early hours of this morning (about 15 mins) while the task was still running that disconnected the internet, but didn't affect the NAS which was on a UPS. All of the files appeared to have synced to B2 a couple of hours after the brief power outage outage, but instead of saying "Sync successful" is says "Scanning".
I created another task this morning with only 1GB of files and it synced fine and says "Sync successful".
So, what does "Scanning" mean in relation to the task. Did the temporary loss of internet somehow corrupt the sync?
[Help] What dopes "Scanning' mean in CloudSync task?
Re: [Help] What dopes "Scanning' mean in CloudSync task?
Scan local files; if the file is not found on the cloud, it will be uploaded. If there are many files, scanning may take longer. If the scanning status persists, you can try restarting the task.

Re: [Help] What dopes "Scanning' mean in CloudSync task?
The “Scanning” status in CloudSync simply means that the software is scanning and comparing the list of files between the NAS and Backblaze B2 to confirm everything is synced correctly. It does not mean that the backup is faulty or that the data is corrupted. After a temporary network outage, CloudSync needs time to check and update index, especially with large volumes (~120GB). When the scan is complete, the status will change to “Sync successful”. You can check further by viewing the log or directly comparing on B2 for peace of mind.
