[Help] F2-425 plus will not initialize

Post by csa3d »

I seem to be stuck in some setup loop where the NAS will appear to have gone through 100% initialization, then reboot but still report as uninitialized.

I have the following, brand new harware in the brand new f2-425 plus:
- 2x Western Digital 4TB (WD40EFZX) installed in HDD1 and HDD2
- 2x Western Digital SN700 500Gb NVME (WDS500G1R0C) in slots 1 and 2

Connected as:
- Ethernet into router
- HDMI into monitor

I specifically purchased equipment from your recommended page as existing hardware I had laying around displayed the same issues outline below, so I wrote it off initially as a compatibility issue and paid up.

Initialization spits out the following errors:
- cant insert `/lib/modules/6.1.120+/kernel/r8126.ko` file exists
- cant insert `/lib/modules/6.1.120+/kernel/atlantic.ko` file exists
- cant find /etc/upnpd.conf

Install scenarios all seem to fail:
- Power off, holding reset, rebooting, release at the three beeps
- Using TNAS app on android following onscreen prompts
- Using install from browser address on LAN (automatic)
- Using install from browser address on LAN manually downloading TOS and Bootloader, specifying the 2 HDDs
- With both NVMEs and HDDs installed
- With only NVMEs installed
- With only HDDs installed
- With only a single NVME installed (as per video, in slot 2)

Cannot see additional logs; unable to shh into the device due to lack of credentials info.

Is there an issue in the bootloader? At this point I am at a loss as to what I'm missing here..
