[Help] How to install TOS 6.0.783 on an empty F2-221 unit

Hi guys, i am here to ask for your help. I have had for a while now TM F2-221 unit that served me well on very old os 4.1 till at some point became obsolete. I did not want to risk the data i had inside so to make things easy i did empty the unit so that i can play with it risk free.
Now, after reading the forum here and there i did not see a complete guide for my type of unit to install latest TOS 6.0.783.
Some places say you have to upgrade your internal usb boot drive to have version 5 but for version 6 NOTHING.
Can someone (A MODERATOR OR A TECHNICIAN) point me to the right steps to install TOS 6.0.783 including upgrading internal boot drive (with witch image) ?

However, only certain BIOS revisions of the 221 TNAS series devices are capable of supporting the newer TOS builds.

You can refer to method B in this link: during initialization, select custom installation, manually upload the TOS 5.0.176 installation package and install the system https://support.terra-master.com/downlo ... uct=F2-221.
After installing the system, upgrade to TOS 5.1.24, then upgrade to TOS 5.1.145. Then, in the TOS system, go to TOS Control Panel > General Settings > System > Update > BIOS/InitBoot to check the BIOS version. If the BIOS version is not listed in this upgrade guide viewtopic.php?t=6809, then your device can be upgraded to TOS 6.0 or its latest version.

Why so many updates from one to another when i want to install direct from the start TOS6? My bios it is supported so there is no issue. I have already made a USB Initboot Image (TOS 6 Legacy 126MB) (thx crisisacting) and i would like to know where i can get latest TOS image for my system if there is any made. If any system it is EMPTY why do we need to make 100 updates to arrive at day with the OS? Where is the logic in this?

Using the new initboot should grab the latest build if you choose the download option, when doing a clean installation (custom installation requires you have a .ins source file), as long as the TNAS can reach the Internet.

If you have already created a boot system for TOS 6, you can directly install the latest TOS 6 using the system installation package version 6.0.783.

It is worth noting that the instructions are generalised for all users. There are those that do not have the facility, capability or interest in using the various 'shortcuts' that might be available. Thus, following the prescribed routine is required in most cases.
