[Help] D6-320 slow transfer speed W11

Post by Ylem »

hello,
i'm running a windows 11 with up to date motherboard chipset driver (msi x670e gaming plus)

connected on usb c 3.2 gen

juste bought a d6-320, put 6 disk in it, some old some brand new, 4to size max.
The transfer speed from disk to disk inside the DAS or from inside sata disk to DAS are very slow like 20mo/s no matter if its big or small files

i also tried on a brand new lenovo laptop and same speed are happening.

Any help would be appreciated
thanks

Are you are using the included Type A to Type C 10 Gbps cable to interconnect the TDAS to your desktop's red 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 external ports on the rear or since the only other ports capable of the required 10 Gbps connection with the other included cable are the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C under the Ethernet connection or if your case has a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C front port, as there's an internal header for that on that board?

hello,
I'm using the Type C to Type C cable, connected at the rear of the motherboard. i also tried the front type C port, and the type A to C cable on rear and front ports. I'm a bit used to troubleshoot testing :D

Hello, please refer to this post to update the firmware of D6-320 and test if it can improve the transfer speed.

Perhaps you can also conduct comparative tests to evaluate the performance of different disks or different slots, to determine if the issue is specific to a particular disk or slot.

all 6 slots behave the same, while disks are not same size/ages/speed
and tried with an other computer, so that's also sorted out.

i'm running out of ideas

If you used the included usb cable, then try update your usb driver for your mother board. sometimes a outdate usb driver of usb port can lead to slow speed, try it.
