My dad changed our ISP, with a new router. Ever since then I cannot find my TNAS F4-423 on the network when running a search in the TNAS PC program.
I've turned the server on and off multiple times, unplugged and plugged it back into the router, and even went as far as removing the battery from the motherboard to try resetting it that way.
TNAS PC Version 5.2.092
Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions? I'm at a loss right now...

Re: [Help] Changed ISP, Can't find TNAS
One likely scenario is that you have set a static IP on your NAS, which differs from the new ISP's network segment. This might help you:

Re: [Help] Changed ISP, Can't find TNAS
I sincerely apologize for being such a noob. This is my first and only experience with a NAS. I'm still having trouble with this. When I ethernet my computer to the NAS, it still won't detect it to even begin moving through the rest of the steps in that link... Is anyone willing to explain this to me like I'm 5 without being too sarcastic? lol
Re: [Help] Changed ISP, Can't find TNAS
You can connect your computer directly to the NAS using an Ethernet cable, and then search for it through TNAS PC.

I tried the live chat. Mike was about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine!
He kept linking the same viewtopic.php?f=76&t=423 post and telling me to use method B. He would then immediately close the ticket without allowing me to reply and let him know that it didn't work.
This will probably be the last Terramaster product I ever purchase. I've seen better service at the BMV than this live chat.

I'm very sorry for the trouble caused. When you remove all hard drives and restart the NAS, can you hear three beeps? If you only hear one beep, it might be an issue with the boot system. This could prevent you from locating the NAS.MolonLabe86 wrote: ↑16 Sep 2025, 05:50 I tried the live chat. Mike was about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine!

Yes, there are three audible beeps. I've tried both connected directly through ethernet, as well as connected to the network router.

This means that the initboot system is running OK, and it should now be searchable. You can refer to this to troubleshoot the network settings and firewall settings of your PC, or directly find the IP on the router management platform.MolonLabe86 wrote: ↑16 Sep 2025, 12:35 Yes, there are three audible beeps.
