[Help] F4-210 keep losing connection to UPS

Post by jcn3k123jcms »

I'm using a combination of F4-210 and CP1500AVRLCD on 4.2.43, connecting via USB
The NAS can reconginize the UPS when I first plug in. But after a few minutes, it'll lose the connection. Re-plug in the USB fix the problem, but only for a few minutes.
This UPS is on the Compatibility list, please help.

Does that happen with all the USB ports available on your 210 series TNAS, or have you only tested it with the same port everytime?

Does you Check TOS settings for any USB power management or energy-saving features? Then, disable them.

Where can I find those settings? I tried search but found nothing, and there's no such features under "Power" tabl

Perhaps you can also try the following methods for troubleshooting:
1. Test the USB Interface: Connect other devices, such as a USB flash drive, to the TNAS USB port. Observe whether the connection is also disconnected after a few minutes to confirm whether the TNAS interface is functioning properly.
2. Perform a No-Load Test: First, switch the TNAS power supply to mains electricity. Allow the UPS to operate without connecting any load devices, and only connect it to the TNAS via a USB cable. Observe whether disconnections still occur under these conditions to determine whether the issue is related to the UPS's load capacity.
3. Conduct a Battery Test: Disconnect the UPS from mains power and switch it to battery mode to power connected devices. Observe whether it quickly triggers a low-voltage alarm or shuts down abnormally, in order to determine if the battery has aged.
4. Contact After-Sales Support: If none of the above methods resolve the issue, it may be due to an internal hardware failure in the UPS. It is recommended to provide the specific model number and describe the symptoms of the issue, then contact official after-sales service for further technical support.
