[Help] Sharing folder after reinstall

Post by tokingarg »

So I recently upgraded from 5 to 6. It was a bit of a nightmare and in the end I had to take all the drives out, buy an external nvme enclosure, low level format them, put in 1 and start it with the newest boot loader (thanks @tmzethar). Im on 6.0.77 now. I plugged in my hdds while the nas was on and used superblock to prevent old system files from triggering it back to tos5 again. My raid is intact. I can see volume2 but I dont see any of my old folders. I can add new ones, install apps etc. I know the folders are there because I can see them in terminal and ash.

I tried to change attributes through Shared Folder, im using an admin account, but i dont know linux well or TOS command lime.. The only extra attribute is I. I tried the Restore Shared Folder on Volume 2. The previous network drive on my PC doesnt see any of the old folders.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

update--- nm, I just renamed the directory to a directory outside of the /Volume2/public directory and everything works

It's great that you solved the problem.

If folder names are the same in different volumes, it will cause conflicts, and one of them will disappear from the page.
