[Help] Transfer system disk files

Post by simpleas0 »

I want to move the system disk files from the original disk to another one that is already installed, how can I do this?

Alternatively, I can reinitialise the system but I don't want to lose any data. I have a F4-212 that originally came with TOS5 but I have installed the TOS6 beta on it. If I reinitialise, will I need to update it back to TOS6?

You can reinstall the system and choose the new hard drive during initialization. This will not affect the data on the original hard drive.

I've accidentally added a new drive to my TRAID but I didn't want to do that, how can I remove the drive from the TRAID and set it up as an individual drive without losing any data on the original drive? Both drives are 8TB

Sorry, reducing TRAID members is not supported. It is recommended that you back up your data and then recreate the RAID type you need.
