[Help] Unable to setup custom SMTP server in TOS 5.1

Post by NUC247 »

I am trying to setup a custom SMTP server via SMTP2go. When entering the username no matter what I use it shows as red and never lets me apply and save the settings.

I'm using TOS 5.1.73 on a TNAS-412D

This is what I get, the error is the same as using the actual username setup in SMTP2go. It seems to do this for any combination of letters, numbers, symbols etc.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I don't know the product but I'm thinking the receiving server won't authenticate TLS/SSL on port 2525.

I just tested same red around username no matter what port, tried SMTP2go's listed SSL and TLS ports

It seems like TOS's input checking for username is bugged out no matter what I put in the username
