If you want to use the backup features of Snapshot or Centralized Backup, we recommend choosing the Btrfs file system. If stability is your top priority, we suggest using the ext4 file system.

I I had so many issues with BTRFS — including bad sectors that couldn’t be repaired — that after three months I switched to ext4.
