[Help] F8 SSD will not power down
Whether I select Shut Down (or Reboot) from the web interface or physically hit the power button my new f8 SSD it will not power off. The HDMI output shows the system shutting down various services and ends with "Finished system power off". At this point nothing happens. The unit remains powered up with a green light and the HDMI output does not change. Any suggestions on what may be wrong?

Hi, what is your TOS version? Have you pressed power button over 5 seconds? Can you press longer?

Re: [Help] F8 SSD will not power down
I am running the latest 6.0.750 TOS version. The system will power down if I hold the power button for several seconds after the software shuts down. This does not solve the problem of rebooting remotely or knowing when to shut the system down if the hdmi/monitor is not connected. .
Re: [Help] F8 SSD will not power down
It is known that version .750 had some issues but not explicitly as you describe as far as I know. It is suggested you update to version .770 (or later depending on what's available at the time).

Re: [Help] F8 SSD will not power down
Hello, based on the situation you described, it is recommended to perform a CMOS clear operation on the motherboard. The specific steps are as follows: First, disassemble the device casing; next, remove the battery from the motherboard; then, locate the battery holder and short the two terminals for approximately 10 seconds. After that, reassemble the device and power it on. Finally, observe whether the issue you previously encountered has been resolved.

Re: [Help] F8 SSD will not power down
My F4-423 machine encountered the same problem when I added an NVMe SSD, the system reported that the shutdown was complete but the machine still had a green light and the fan was running.
