My TM F424 Pro System just shut down completely unexpected. We were watching something on Emby when it just shut down. The system is connected to a APS BX750MI UPS.
I only now turned on the logging. I could find no logging from the previous session. I tried to use the 'report issue' form, but the generated logs wouldn't download. Pfft.
How can I troubleshoot this? The unit is working correctly in all other ways. I tested it with the UPS, it kept working.

You can turn on 'Debug Mode' in the same Help & Support page. I have been experiencing a strange, intermittent issue where a nas will report "Abnormal shutdown" and will then immediately reboot itself with no apparent side effects. The debug logs can become very large, especially while waiting for that intermittent fault - maybe weeks - to come back. You can send logs to TMSupport, for what good it will do. After much 'wishing and swapping' I think I have it narrowed down to one of my power supplies. I'm still waiting for "the other shoe to drop' for confirmation.
What the logs did reveal were issues with UPS NETWORKING TOOLS, but that is another story (so don't get mislead by multiple ups errors)

Is there any error prompt when the generated log cannot be downloaded?

The error occurs in the browser, so is in Dutch. But it's an 404 on the file. I just fill out the form in TOS, click on download the donwload the .zip file and get an 404.
Het lijkt erop dat er een probleem met deze website is

Foutcode: 404 Not Found
Misschien is de website tijdelijk niet beschikbaar of overbelast. Probeer het over enkele ogenblikken opnieuw.

Re: [Help] Terramaster F424 Pro shut down on its own
I switched the NAS away from the UPS, to rule that out. But I would expect a device in this category to be able to use a bog standard APC UPS.
