I'm just syncing my Dropbox with the TNAS. I copied my existing data in the sync directory. But instead of just keep the existing files, CloudSync is updating the create date on the files. Is there a way to prevent that?

Has the content of the file been modified? You can export the cloudsync log and send it to our support email for us to analyze.

I found the issue, it is not TOS related. Apparently, when you upload files to Dropbox via the Web OR the API, it will get the current date.
The solution is to simply re-download the files via CloudSync INSTEAD of putting them in place and sync them (2-way). Takes a bit longer, but then you are on the safe side with the original dates.
