F5-221 not showing up on network after power failure
Re: F5-221 not showing up on network after power failure
Thanks, crisisacting, I will give that a try. I believe I do have a couple of extras around, if I can still find them. At one time I had 6 or 8 of them, I think 2 may still be in the old server I shut down last year. I seem to recall reading something in the past about putting used drives in, do I need to repartition them first or something?

As long as the drive is Secure Erased prior to installation into your TNAS & presents as uninitialized, TOS should perform the repartitioning to mirror the partitions that must exist for your older version of TOS.
TOS 6.× changed away from buildroot of the older TOS versions to a more Ubuntu-adjacent construction, so newer builds can assign specific system drives.
