[Help] [F2-212] Connection refused at initiliazation.

Post by wyen »

Hello !

Reporting an issue I'm having, because I don't find it reported anywhere.
I've been able to access the installation wizard at http://tnas.local, no issue at all, I clicked all default options, progress was ok, I saw the circle go from 0% to 100%, ... But my F2-212 is not initialized. I can still see it in TNAS PC, as Uninizialized, it disappears if I unplug it the internet, and appears if I plug it again, so no issue with that.
If I do the "Login" step, I'm met with a "connection refused", even if I modify HTTPS to HTTP or allow everything in website settings in my web browser. I can ping the address, but can't get any resource from it. It shows "ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE". I cannot access tnas.local anymore too.
Any clue ?

Thank you for your help, if any.

Generally the status will remain “Uninitialized” until you have completed your initial superuser setup.
It looks like you've restricted your browser to use HTTPS only, but you can actually choose to skip the restriction on the page.
The default ports for TOS pages are 5443 (https) and 8181 (http). After changing the URL to HTTP, please change the port number to 8181 as well. you can also try changing to another browser to connect to the NAS.

Thank you TMwethar.
It seems both Brave and Firefox didn't accept my requests, opening port 5443 on Chromium did the trick. So indeed, my own configuration issue, product is working fine.
