Cannot Copy Files to my Mapped Folders

Post by Murrayb »

I can no longer copy files using Windows File Explore from my computer to my NAS folders as I get a "The disk is write-protected". The drives are mapped and I had been able to copy files without any issues. I recently upgraded to TOS 6 and current version is 6.0.610. I was able to copy files after the upgrade but today I started receiving the "The disk is write-protected" message, despite having made no changes. It appears that I have read/write permission and yet I cannot copy files.

Suggestions?

Forgot the first rule for dealing with computer glitches - did you try turning it off and on. Turning the F4-424 off and on fixed the problem.

The problem seems related to a file system issue. This thread might be helpful: viewtopic.php?t=2575
