Does the AI face recogntion actually work?

I have two F2-221s running 6.0.555-00166 and have installed Terra Photos and the Multimedia Server on both units.

In Terra Photos I selected "Enable AU facial recognition" and clicked "Apply".

When I click on "People", it displays "The AI intelligent recogntion is in progress..., please wait".

It has now been three days. Surely it can't take that long to run the AI facial recognition?

I have approximately 4.000 photographs in the index, only about 10% of those would be of people.

Has anyone got the AI facial recogntion working?

It may be that the AI face recognition has not started working. You can try turning off and then on the AI face recognition again to see if it works. As for Photos, we will soon release a new version that significantly optimizes the computing power of AI face recognition. Stay tuned!

The recent update to Photos appears to have fixed the AI face recognition problem, and it is now working fine.

My AI face recognition function is currently running well and the recognition speed is quite fast.

Yeah, working perfectly!
Did you close other apps (Multimedia Server, Docker, etc.)?
Or you can try running recognition overnight when the NAS is idle.
