Flexible email notification settings  [Accepted]

Post by AES »

Now when you enable email notifications when creating small files, dozens and hundreds of letters come from indexing about new files being indexed, every 2-3 added files. I don't understand why I need this information. And nothing useful comes.
I would like to be able to turn off such useless notifications. And receive useful information about nutrition, safety, the state of the distists and other important situations.

Hello, Media Index notifications fall under the "System Event" notification type. It is normal to receive a notification when changing the contents of the index directory triggers the media index. If you want to turn off media index notifications, you can do so as follows.

1. Disable desktop notification: Disable "System Event" notification in the Settings of desktop message notification.

2. Turn off email notification: Turn off "System Event" type notification in Control Panel - General Settings - Notification;

Tip: Turn off notifications of the "System event" type, which will affect your ability to receive notifications of other "system events".

For me, I WOULD like to know when a scheduled task starts/finishes, but I DO NOT want to know every little indexing change from Multimedia Server AND Media Indexing which often appear to be duplicating. Any chance some of these event notifications can be separated out - perhaps to an option in the applicable App/Service dialogues which already exist?

Meaningless notifications about every 1-3 indexed files come, but notifications about the current version of TOS available for installation do not come.
I would also like notifications about new versions of TOS applications.
And TOS did not load itself, although when I opened the web interface it immediately reported a new version, and now I have been waiting for 5 minutes for it to load from the Internet.

Why was the fix for this not included in the latest version? This is a minor change and needs addressing as soon as possible. It makes email notification for critical things pointless due to spam.

When will the stupid spam, thousands of stupid letters stop coming?
This is not my bad experience, it is called something else... and there are no censored words in this name.

It is necessary to set up automatic forwarding of these important letters to TerraMaster Support <[email protected]>. I have manually sent about 5 of them now to analyze the situation, it is a pity that they do not automatically turn into tickets.
