Hello,
I am using a T12-450 device, and currently, I cannot access the web portal on either HTTP (port 8181) or https(port 5443)(I didn't change main web interface port).
I have read the forum guide on reinitializing TOS5 without losing data:
viewtopic.php?f=75&t=423
Method A is not an option for me since I cannot access the web interface in the first place.
I would like to try Method B, but the problem is that TNAS PC cannot find the device at all.
But using an IP Scanner, I was able to confirm that the NAS is assigned the IP address 192.168.0.XX.
And fortunately, I had previously enabled SSH access, so I am able to connect to the device via SSH.
However, the web interface remains inaccessible.
Is there any alternative way to reinitialize TOS5 without losing data? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
My main priority is restoring web access. If there are any other methods I can try to resolve this issue.
Thank you.

Re: [Help] T12-450 TOS5 Web Access Issue and Initialization Problem
If you can access 192.168.0.XX via SSH, this indicates that the USB boot system has successfully booted.
At this point, if you put 192.168.0.XX into your browser (without using the port), you should be able to open the TOS installation boot web page. If you still don't see the TOS installation boot system page, please clear your browser cache and try again.
You can refer to this to troubleshoot the issue that TNAS PC app can't search for the NAS, if you have a DHCP server in your network environment.

Re: [Help] T12-450 TOS5 Web Access Issue and Initialization Problem
Thank you for your answer. But I think I failed to re-install
1. USB Boot Loader
I downloaded the bootloader from this website, connected it via USB, then connected it to the NAS and ran it through SSH after connecting to TNAS.
However, after running the bootloader, SSH disconnected, and now I can't access SSH anymore.
2. TNAS Access Issue
I followed the steps from this forum post by switching from public to private and ensured all checkboxes in the firewall settings were enabled.
I also updated TNAS to the latest version.
The indicator lights on my router blink normally without any internet connection issues.
However, I still can't connect to TNAS.
Now that I can't access SSH anymore, I need advice on how to proceed.
If I have to completely reset the system and wipe all data, how should I do it?

Re: [Help] T12-450 TOS5 Web Access Issue and Initialization Problem
I believe this has disconnected you from your local network, inevitably.
(That the system should allow this is debatable. Certainly a strong warning
Are you running TOS5 or TOS5.1? (There are some differences).
Re-installation of the same os (TOS) as previously installed should allow preservation of data, but settings will have to be
re-done. (Did you save system configuration? Do you have a backup? That might help)
However, nothing is guaranteed - especially where delinquent electrons are concerned.

From your description, it is not possible to rule out the potential issue with either the built-in USB Initboot or the USB drive itself. You may refer to the following guidance to re-burn the USB Initboot or create a new one accordingly.
