TRAID+ is better than RAID6, It helps us maximize the use of hard disk space. Of course, for enterprises, it is best to use the same model for all hard disks. However, TRAID+ obviously gives users more choices.

TRAID is really quite good, more flexible than traditional RAID, easy to expand storage, do not have to worry about data loss. It saves a lot of heartache!

TRIAD + is more flexible and can mix hard drives of different capacities. It can be used by small studios or home users with limited budgets and messy hard drive specifications to easily complete storage construction and improve storage utilization. :D :D

Hello, I'm considering migrating to Terramaster. I have a large amount of data (not multimedia files, which seems to be the norm), but ISOs and VMs. 18 x 3.5" HDDs of 4TB and 8TB and I want to be able to use them, work with M.2 NVMe drives and increase the NETWORK (2.5 GBps or 10 GBps) I would like to be able to test TOS 6 in a real environment first, that is, my idea is to buy a F8 SSD Plus NAS and connect several D8-HYBRID DAS to it. Of course, to be able to work at the disk level creating different volumes and RAIDs with the DAS, I understand that it can only be done with TOS 6. My question is, is there a way to install TOS on a normal PC, buy a D8-Hybrid and see its functionality before investing in more equipment? (My idea is to buy an F8 SSD Plus + 3 x D8-Hybrid) Given the high cost of the investment, I would like to be able to test first if TOS can manage it correctly. Also, and seeing that the F8 has 3xUSB 3.2 10GB, could all three be connected? D8-H concurrent and theoretically could manage them TOS 6.0? Thanks.

We sincerely appreciate your interest in the TerraMaster Operating System (TOS)! Please take special note that TOS cannot run on standard PCs. Additionally, regarding the F8 SSD product, all three of its USB 3.2 10Gbps ports support simultaneous use to meet your diverse high-speed data transfer needs.

It essentially simplified what RAID had done for decades — but with greater ease and more intelligent disk usage.
