F4-423 Assistance needed

I have a F4-423 with 2 WD Red Pro drives. Everything has been working perfectly for several months until yesterday. I couldnt access the nas for ages and when i finally got into the TNAS PC app it would log me in slowly but I could never access the TOS page, it just wouldnt load. In the device overview the device was conatsntly showing full load and running slowly. Tried everything to get into TOS but just wasnt having it. Any devices could not see the device any longer also.

I've tried a reboot many times, removed drives and i'm now trying to initialise it and start again. The initilise works ok to the point of setting up account details and trying to get past the security email section which just throws me back to the account creation stage. I seem to be in this constant loop. I have no idea if my data has been lost and cannot access the device by broswer or the PC app. The nas is happilly churning away making noise but I have no idea what its doing.

Any idea what I need to try next as this thing is driving me bonkers.

use HDMI and an external monitor to get more infos
